It was a Wylie’s Baths wedding and just before Christmas when Megan and Jeff decided to tie the knot. I make no secret about how much I love this time of year. Wylie’s Baths is a heritage listed swimming hole nestled in Coogee Beach of Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Other than being excellently located on a hot day, being in such a popular area can be a bit hectic with people (and parking). But once the sun starts to set and the locals clear out, it really is a peacefully private party place.
Megan and Jeff had hired us to help with a full day of wedding coordination for their Wylie’s Baths wedding. Working on this event in the lead up and talking to suppliers and pulling in those last little details made the day a seamless one. The only thing we had to contend with for Megan and Jeff was the wind. But after a few design compromises, the ceremony and reception space created by Gallivant Events looked magical. I loved Megan’s boho flair, and she was stunning – her head piece was the perfect touch.
I could tell that both Megan and Jeff were very loved and had a gorgeous circle of family and friends to share the day with. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing such a happy bunch of people bust out for that very first dance on the dance floor (thank you to the Leon Fallon Experience!!). The Christmas fireworks in the public park next door were a very convenient touch as well. Much love and warmest of wishes to Megan and Jeff.
