Girl Friday Weddings opened it’s doors in 2009. We are a boutique agency of trusted and award winning wedding planners based in Crows Nest, NSW servicing both Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metro and regional areas.
Necessity is the mother of all invention (as they say!) and the founder Sarah Johnston saw a niche to assist many couples who don’t necessarily want the expense of a full service planner, but whose busy lives mean that their free time doesn’t allow them to execute their ideas and bring them to life. Sarah’s background and passion for sales and marketing events combined with her enthusiasm to work with other people, both her industry friends and couples meant a quick success for the business. Today with hundreds of weddings behind her, she has a small team to help execute each and every wedding flawlessly.
Since our time in the business, our wedding planners have worked on the smallest elopement, to the largest event with over 800 guests. We have a fresh approach to each new client and love that every event that our wedding planners work on is different, including the challenges they bring. There is nothing that our wedding planners wont do to ensure every wedding is a success. Our team is dedicated and experienced, and with almost a decade of work experience behind us, only the most talented and skilled team will be working with you.
Our services range from full service planning, to part planning, styling and on the day coordination and hire. We routinely attend industry trade shows and classes all over the world to stay on top of the latest trends, so you don’t have to. But most importantly, you never have to worry about your planner not showing up because of illness or personal emergency. We have a team of experienced planners that can pitch in at a moment’s notice. Our professionals are experienced, trustworthy and reliable and can handle any request, requirement or crisis, even if it comes up at the very last minute. And do it all with a smile!
