It was a Dunbar House wedding for Angie and Ben who were married just a few days before Christmas. I love this time of year for a wedding. It’s a busy time and the holiday energy was alive and real. We were booked only a week or two before this event for help with set up and coordination. So it was a hustle to the finish, and who doesn’t love a hustle?! While all the beautiful planning details had been taken care of, we were left with the responsibility of pulling it all together on the day.
The first thing we usually look at when we start working on an event, is the suppliers list. It’s funny how something so simple can give you the best snapshot of how the day is likely to unfold. It was great to work with some of our usual suppliers, but meet new ones as well. All the details had been arranged by Angie and Ben with so much thought and eye for design. I loved the ceremony space. The new landscaped area by Dunbar House along with the florals by Blumette were outstanding, the arrangements and installations were stunning.
Equally impressive were the memories caught by Gui Jorge, who we had recently worked with at Ellie and Andrew’s wedding. He had nailed the brief back then, and he certainly backed it up for Angie and Ben.
