It was a lovely first phone call from Hong Kong to the incredible Michael and Neil, to chat about their wedding at Catalina Restaurant. And it didn’t take long to figure out that these were two very extraordinary gentlemen with enough creativity and flair to make the rest of us envious. It may have had something to do with their plans for the ceremony at McKell Park in Darling Point. A bagpiper to mark the processional, and a ukulele to round them out. Or perhaps it was their wedding day ride on the Mon Cheri that first had my attention.
I loved that Michael and Neil weren’t afraid to soften the reception with a classic white look, and round it out with gold and blue accents. The agate pops on the tables really added subtle colour where it was needed, and guests were certainly dressed to impress (and ready to have a lot of fun)!
And when guests finally did arrive to the reception via water transfers of course, it was another outfit change for our two newlyweds looking very dapper in their dinner suits. The look on their faces when this handsome pair arrived pretty much sums up the day. What a truly gorgeous and humble couple you are. What an honour it was to help coordinate on the day and work with you both. Congratulations to Michael and Neil.
