While I really enjoy on the day wedding coordination, there is something really rewarding about being more involved in the planning aspect. What I love most about the job and thrive off, is problem solving. It’s not exactly the thing that comes to mind when you tell people that you’re a wedding planner. But with hundreds of events behind me, it’s easy enough for me to fix a problem that’s been keeping them up at night. I really just love to help people.
Not to mention I love watching all the hard work come together on the day. The looks on your clients face (not just at the ceremony) when they see everything come to life just as you have talked about. You’d think winter would be the quietest time of year for us, but actually it’s the best time of year to knock out a lot of leg work for upcoming spring and summer events. And it’s about this time that many couples getting married in spring suddenly realise that time is not on their side.

I get just as excited hearing about where our clients are getting married, as I do on the day of the wedding.
