Working is easy, when you’re working with friends.
And if you don’t believe me, just look at your guest list and count how many colleagues you’ve invited (or debated to invite). It makes your morning easier, when you have a pal to share a coffee with. It makes the bad days better when you have someone to buy you a drink at your local.
Weddings are no different. In fact, when the pressure is amplified, knowing that your suppliers are connected is comforting. No one wants to see their buddy fail. Everyone gives their all for the sake of the client, always for the benefit of making their fellow vendors shine. Everyone throws their weight behind doing whatever it takes so that a good night is had. And it’s still amazing how so many suppliers don’t understand this, and just how many do.
This is the difference to hiring a good supplier and a great one. If you’re taking referrals from a good supplier who wants to stay between their lines, clock off a minute after their contracted time and check only the boxes they were hired for, you’ll never get the benefit of referrals to the great suppliers. Great suppliers don’t want to work with them. Great suppliers only work with great suppliers.
