Zest Waterfront Venues have two locations. The first at Point Piper, and the other at The Spit Mosman. Zest at Mosman is located at the Middle Harbour 16ft Skiff Club. Venues by the water are always popular, but it takes more than a pretty vista to make a venue magical. The Boathouse at the Spit, Mosman feels just that. Very magical. And despite the modest entry, once you are in the space, the timber and stone interior gives it a wonderfully warm and intimate feeling ironically as it can host up to 280 guests seated. The room can be adjusted depending on your guest count and room hire charged out accordingly.
Zest is located directly across the road from the Spit West Reserve, which is not only a lovely spot for an outdoor ceremony – but it has ample parking. Very convenient, as parking tends to be one of those little things that most couples don’t consider until they realise they don’t have it. Mosman Art Gallery is also straight up the hill and makes a dynamic space for couples wanting their ceremony in an indoor location.

With any venue, knowing what you’re going to do with the space before booking it can make things so much easier. But with The Boathouse nothing is a problem. They have the flexibility to rig anything like a chandelier from their existing rigging points, to hanging installations from the coffers in the ceiling. Their own in-house staff have impressive attention to detail, and they’ll even adjust the pinspots to make sure the best features of the room glisten.

The venue has an impressive collection of in-house decor, much of it available free of charge for couples to use. Otherwise they welcome you to bring in your own suppliers and make the space your own. If you’re considering an elaborate set up (which the venue very much lends itself to), the good news is that they can be flexible to longer bump in times as most of the space is not used for a lunch service.
